Hello there! I'm Lycoris, traditional artist who enjoys to draw dragons and other fantasy creatures as such. I'm passionate about bringing imagination to life by using combination of graphic & watercolor pencils, white and chalk pens on different sketchbooks. Terms of Servise
By commisioning me in any way, you agree with Terms of Servise below
If you have a problem with any of these terms, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying for your commissioned piece
1. GENERAL TERMS- Artwork will be made in traditional media and some design colors may be slightly different from the ones at the reference or at the description
- All drawings will include a subtle sign that you may not remove (my signature and/or watermark)
- I might record the drawing process/stages and post it.
- Prices are subject to change based on demand.
- I have the right to reject any order that I do not feel comfortable drawing for any reason.
- Fill out the commision form template (located in Prices section) and specify your idea as clear as possible
- If I don't respond to your commision request, I did not recieve/see the email or I'm not able to do the commision
- Please, be respectful, I'm a human being and have a life outside of the internet as well
- If you become my regular commisioner you'll get a 10% discount on everything ;)For now I only take personal commisions for your own use (I may add "Purchase of Commercial Right" in the future if someones is interest)2. PAYMENT- Currency accepted is USD and can be paid through Buy Me a Coffee (custom commission link via email or DM) or Payoneer (invoice starting from 20$ via email plus I'll need your full name, country and email) using credit card (PayPal works only for donations in my country)
- Commissions are paid 100% upfront.
- Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment.3. PROCESS AND DELIVERY- I will notify you when I start working on your commission and you, therefore, lose the rights to a refund (see point 8 further below for more info on refunds)
- While working on your commission I will contact you to agree on details to make sure it just right for you!
- The amount of reviews depends on the complexity of the work.
- During the reviews, you will see work-in-progress and these images will usually include a watermark and be smaller than the finished piece.
- The time it takes to finish your commission varies 1 week - 3 months depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, other work and such.
- If anything comes up that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time I will let you know asap.
- Once the piece is finished and you're happy with the result, I'll send a full-resolution image along with a web-friendly size. Note that there is no physical product. If you want me to ship the artwork specify it upfront in commision form (see point 9 further below for more info on shipping) :)4. REVISIONS- Please, remember that I draw in traditional medium, so I won't be able to do some major changes after final sketch approval
- Small edits or changes on the commissioned piece included in the price
- A fee will be added if you want me to make some big changes - unless a misunderstanding from my side has been made (but I don't promise I'll be able to do some specific changes after I started coloring)
- If you want me to change something in the drawing you have previously approved, I charge you a fee for changing it. The amount of the extra charge depends on the change you want me to make
- If your reference was'nt clear from the beginnig, you'll have to pay extra charge for the changes5. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICYI, the artist, claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the commisioner. Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:
- Promote myself with it everywhere
- Publish books with it (artbooks, etc.)
- Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)
- Post it wherever I wantThe commisioner is allowed to:
- Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc.)
- Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as their own, but not the artwork itself.
- Use the artwork to promote themselves. You are not forced to give me credit when you post it but it is very appreciated.
- Use the artwork on their Youtube channel and in monetized videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.
- You MAY be allowed to sell the artwork if it is a part of an Adoptable. Please discuss this with me prior to paying for the artwork.The following is considered copyright infringement:
- Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money off it in any way (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, make prints, etc.)
- Claiming the artwork as your own
- Removing my signature/watermark from the artwork
- Altering the artwork without my consent
- Use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposesI reserve the full rights to the image and it's use/distribution (rights to the image for your own non-personal use may not be purchased at now).6. CUSTOM DESIGNSWhen you commissioning me to design a custom character you MAY DO any of the following:
♡ Give to the character a name, a personality and so on, anything you want like your Original Character
♡ You can use them for a story, for an avatar, for a signature, in roleplay story and etc.
♡ Can change the design as you want and claim the character as your own
♡ Draw themWhen you commissioning me to design a custom character you MAY NOT DO any of the following:
! RESELL it in the HIGHER price UNLESS additional art of the designed character have been made
! You are NOT ALLOWED to remove my designer watermark or my signature in any way
! DO NOT claim the original design as your own workSelling and Trading
・You MAY sell your customs for as much as you bought them (unless if they have extra art)
・When you trade the character designed by me my only rule is that you let me know afterwards so I can keep track of ownership
・I honestly do not want my designs being thrown around everywhere so this is a big rule: IF YOU RESELL/TRADE LET ME KNOW PLEASE. That way I would know who the design belongs to and I don't think you are stealing ;)Please credit me as the designer and tag me at least once (I would like to see your art of custom character you got from me)7. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION- I will do everything I can to make my customers happy!
- If you are not happy with any thing about the commissioned piece please tell me right away so we can find a solution together.
- I am willing to change some of my terms for you if you ask before I start working on your commission. If you, e.g., do not want me to post your art anywhere, we can discuss this.8. REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY- The buyer is not allowed to get a refund once I started working on the commission.
- If for any reason I am unable to start your commission you receive a full refund.
- If you cancel your order before I started it, you can get a full refund.
- If you aren't happy with the finished product, I sincerely apologize. You will not get a refund or entirely remade art.
- Please, keep contact safe for work and civil, stay polite, respectfull and communicative, don't beg me for free art or make offers other than what is listed
- Do not try to scam me
- If the commisioner breaks any of the points stated above they will lose all the beforementioned rights to the artwork commissioned by me, the artist, and I will have the right to blacklist them for commissioning me again. If you have a problem with any of these statements, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying your commissioned piece.9. SHIPPING INFO- Please take a note that I ship from Ukraine using Nova Poshta Global servise
- For shipping tangible/genuine/real/material commission orders (traditional artwork), I require a full, real, human first and last name, phone number, email, postcode,country, city and address. Otherwise I cannot guarantee the order will be delivered successfully.
- I ship tangible commissions in a protective package which depends on artwork type
- For applicable purchases, a waybill tracking number will be provided and can be checked at Nova Poshta Global website.
- After being notified of shipment, postal transit may take 7-14 business days for international.
- For artwork on paper the shipping cost may vary from 15$ up to 70$ depending of the receiving country.
- If you wish I may hold onto art commision and if you have 3+ artworks completed shipment will be free with no extra chargeAre there any additional shipping costs?
For international sales, any taxes, duties, and fees that may occur in the receiving country are the responsibility of the commisioner. Please contact your local customs authorities if you wish to inquire further about the rules in your country that pertain to importing original artwork. Typically there are no fees.What happens if my art is damaged or lost?
Shipping cost will be fully refunded to you or we can make an exchange in the case of any loss or damage that occurs during shipment. Once the artwork arrives inspect it carefully and in case there is any damage please take photos and contact me immediately.What is your return policy?
Customer satisfaction is very important to me, therefore, if you are not fully happy with your purchase, please inform me within 3 days of delivery and you can send the artwork back. I will be glad to refund or exchange the full amount of shipping cost less any custom & excise taxes you may have paid on receipt. Please note that buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. The artwork must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition when it was received. It is therefore important, to take care both when unpacking and repacking the artwork.Who owns the copyright when I purchase an original artwork?
- The Artist holds the copyright to the image of sold artwork and may use the image at will for prints, publication and the like.
- Purchasing the art grants you the right to install and use the painting as decor both privately and corporately. The artwork may not be altered in any way. Reproductions cannot be made unless authorized by the artist.
- If the artwork is reproduced in a magazine or other media please credit with my name and contact information.WHAT DO YOU GET?- Drafts/mockups that you must decide which one I should continue with (depending on the complexity of the commission there might be fewer or more drafts)
- Sketch and/or final sketches that you must accept before I continue the work
- Insight and involvement in color plan (depending on the complexity of the commissioned piece)
- Full-resolution file of final drawing and a smaller version for internet upload. Final file formats are usually JPG, PNG or MP4 depending on commision form
- Original artwork if shipping included in commision request
About commissioning me
Before you order, please make sure to have read my Terms of Service. These terms apply to private commissions only. This information is NOT applicable for commercial work, therefore the art can only be used for the client’s personal purposes.
